SPILT Milk will return to Ballarat this year, with organisers announcing the music festival has been scheduled for December 6 at Victoria Park.
The festival was first held here in 2019 before being interrupted by the pandemic in 2020 and 2021.
It returned in 2022 and 2023 but was not staged anywhere last year.
Headlined by American rapper-producer Kendrick Lamar, Spilt Milk will make its first stop for 2025 in Ballarat, followed by Perth on December 7, Canberra on December 13 and the Gold Coast on December 14.
This year’s lineup also includes US artists rapper-songwriter Doechii and DJ-producer Sara Landry, and Australian acts such as Mia Wray, Rum Jungle, Club Angel, Ennaria, Ninajirachi and The Rions.
The festival was founded and is run by Kicks Entertainment, regarded as among Australia’s leading events organisations.

City of Ballarat mayor Tracey Hargreaves welcomed the festival’s return.
“We are delighted to be able to share the news that Spilt Milk is coming back to Ballarat this year,” she said.
“Spilt Milk is a crucial event for our city that not only highlights Ballarat as a major events destination but also generates an extraordinary amount of money for our local economy.
“Ballarat absolutely comes to life when Spilt Milk is in town and this year, we expect it to be better
than ever.”
More than 40,000 people are expected to attend the Victoria Park venue, about 80 per cent of whom will be visitors to the city.
Event organisers reported that the 2023 iteration brought an estimated $13.8 million to the local economy, with similar results forecast for
this year.
According to the City of Ballarat, figures showed that expenditure on the Saturday of the 2023 festival was almost triple that of regular Saturdays in December – despite that month being the period of highest spending of the year.
The festival will run from 11am to 11pm and tickets are on sale at spilt-milk.com.au
