THE Lara Lake Primary and Hamlyn Banks primary schools will receive funding to rebuild ramps at their respective properties as part of the State Government’s Planned Maintenance Program.
Lara Lake Primary School will get $191,782.74 and Hamlyn Banks Primary School will receive $157,325.34.
The initiative funds high-priority maintenance issues across Victoria’s government schools.
Works are determined by a facilities evaluation process, which provides up-to-date information on the condition of schools to create a faster and more targeted allocation of funding.
Lara MP Ella George said she was thrilled to see the pair of schools among the 158 to share in more than $47.9 million.
“I’m delighted to see Lara Lake Primary School and Hamlyn Banks Primary School share in funding to give our students top-quality facilities for learning,” she said.
