The midweek ladies tennis competition started a new season on Tuesday, July 14, with quite reduced numbers, due to the extraordinary circumstances that we are now dealing with.

Tennis In Geelong went along to Clifton Springs and Geelong East Uniting tennis clubs to see what was happening and can report that there was plenty of enthusiasm to get back on the court!
There are eight grades of midweek ladies, from clubs as far apart as Anglesea and Winchelsea or Barwon Heads and Portarlington.
This equates to approximately 250 players and playing a full season too, unlike Saturday players, who have a much-abbreviated season, due to a late start.
Midweek will conclude with the grand final matches on Tuesday, November 24. There is a week off in the September school holidays.
Midweek enquiries should be addressed to secretary Janeene on 0407 823 714 or email [email protected].
