DUBLIN four-piece The Script will make their A Day on the Green debut this weekend, but it will be without drummer Glen Power.

In a short statement, published across their social media pages prior to their arrival in the country last week, the band broke the news to fans, announcing the beloved percussionist was now unable to join them for any of their upcoming Australian tour dates.

This includes their performance on Saturday (February 1) evening at Mt Duneed Estate, the only Victorian stop on their tour.

“Due to personal circumstances, Glen won’t be able to join us for the forthcoming Australia and Asia leg of The Satellites World Tour,” the statement read.

“Danny and the rest of the band are still looking forward to bringing the tour to Australia and continuing into Asia as planned.

“Thank you for your understanding and support – see you soon!”

The Script will be joined on stage by English singer-songwriter Calum Scott, Grammy-nominated Sydney artist Montaigne, pop-rock trio X Ambassadors and Melbourne up-and-comer Lotte Gallagher.
