RADIO show, The Warm Up, will this week expand its sports coverage with the launch of a new show that aims to elevate the AFL match-day experience.

Delivered as a collaboration between popular radio network SEN and the Times News Group, the new show will be broadcast live from GMHBA Stadium ahead of each Geelong Cats game.

The show, hosted by sports broadcaster Matt Worland and former Cats champion Cameron Mooney, will air in the hour before the game, broadcasting from level one of the Charles Brownlow stand, accessible via gate 13.

Fans can choose to watch the show live or listen from the comfort of their seats through the SEN app.

“We are really pumped to bring the show to the stadium,” Worland said.

“Not only will it be loads of fun, with plenty of interaction with the footy fans, but we think it will add to the match-day experience, especially interviewing players and special guests live on stage, which is normally only reserved for people watching at home.”

The show will air for the first time this Sunday (April 14) at 12 noon before Geelong takes on North Melbourne at GMHBA Stadium at 1pm.

“I really love doing the Saturday morning show on SEN in the studio, but nothing beats being at the ground and having some fun with footy fans live,” Mooney said.

“Hopefully we can add something different to match day.”

Worland said this season marks the first time SEN Sync, a technology that allows fans to listen to live game commentary on their smartphones without delay, has been available at the newly renovated stadium.

“We encourage fans to join for the pre-game show and download the SEN app using our QR code,” he said.

“They can then enjoy the excitement of the game from the comfort of their seats while listening to SEN’s live commentary.”

The new show will be presented in partnership with All Star Access Hire which has just opened its first Geelong location in Grovedale.

The Warm Up will continue to air its regular weekly show at 8am each Saturday on SEN, providing previews of the weekend’s AFL games and sports across the country, along with local coverage of the biggest games each week in the Geelong Football League, Bellarine Football League and the Geelong and District Football League.
