Falcons’ quartet make Vic Country under-18 girls’ squad

GEELONG Falcons are celebrating having four players in selected in the Vic Country under-18 girls’ squad for the coming AFL national championships.
Torquay’s Stella Huxtable and Greea McKeegan as well as St Joseph’s Georgia Tyrrell and Newtown and Chilwell’s Meg Lappin have been named.
The team will play four games across the next two months, with Vic Country playing the Allies in the opening game at Sandringham’s Trevor Barker Beach Oval this Sunday, June 22 at 9.30am.

The Allies features players from NSW-ACT, Northern Territory and Tasmania.
Greater Western Victoria Rebels coach Sally Riley will coach Vic Country.
The side will take on Queensland on June 28, before battling Vic Metro at RSEA Park in Melbourne on July 20 and South Australia away on August 10.
All matches will be livestreamed via the match centre on the AFL website and on the AFL Live Official App.
