GEELONG Young Professionals (GYP) will kick off its 2023 events calendar with a networking breakfast next month.

Geelong-based trainer, speaker and facilitator Les Watson from local business Get More Time will provide his insights and tips for effective time management, motivation and communication tools to help professionals maximise their efficiency at a GYP event

Mr Watson is a well-regarded trainer with 30 years experience across Australia and south-east Asia. Nicknamed the “Time Lord”, he has worked extensively with large corporations, small businesses and individuals.

He is the author of the book Get Back An Hour In Every Day – The A to Z of Being More Productive, and offers training for businesses, through public workshops and one-on-one sessions.

“Ask yourself these questions: Am I maximising my leadership potential? How do I know if I have blindspots that could sabotage my success in my chosen field question? Have I been missing simple or obvious solutions to small and large challenges in my professional life?” he said.

“If you have ever said I’ve got too much to do and not enough time to do it in, this is the session for you.”

The networking breakfast with Mr Watson will be in the President’s Room at GHMBA Stadium on March 2 from 7-9am. RSVP is required by February 23.

GYP is a Geelong Chamber of Commerce-supported organisation that aims to connect professionals through their engaging network events.

Local employers are encouraged to use the event as a professional development opportunity for their staff.

Tickets for the event are $30 and are available at gyp.net.au
