GLOBAL hitmakers OneRepublic will storm the Surf Coast this summer as the headline act for the 2026 edition of Lookout Festival, bringing their signature anthems to Torquay for an electrifying one-day music event.

The gig forms part of the band’s Sweet Escape Tour, as OneRepublic prepares to take their sixth album Artificial Paradise on the road. The group’s return to Australia comes off the back of a sold-out tour across the nation in 2023.

Eskimo Joe have enjoyed an almost 30-year career, during which they’ve notched up six studio albums, eight ARIA Awards and 35 nominations, a figure surpassed by only Silverchair, Powderfinger, Kylie Minogue and John Farnham.

OneRepublic, fronted by vocalist Ryan Tedder, released their debut album Dreaming Out Loud in 2007, its lead single Apologize launching the Colorado natives onto the world stage and earning them a Grammy nomination.

A string of chart-dominating singles followed, including Counting Stars, Secrets and Good Life, while the band’s 2022 single I Ain’t Worried, which features in Top Gun: Maverick, has alone racked up more than three billion streams.
