ONE of Geelong’s top wine events returns to support local communities in a big way this weekend.
The APCO Foundation Geelong Wine Walk will take place tomorrow (Saturday, February 7) and promises to be another day of exceptional tastings, entertainment and community impact.
Participants will enjoy tastings from more than 20 renowned producers, complimented by delicious canapes at seven Geelong venues.
Dive Bar, The Geelong Boathouse, Geelong Arts Centre, The Davidson Restaurant at The Gordon, Novotel Geelong, 17by4 (The Courthouse Café), and Geelong Regional Library will open their doors, creating the perfect backdrop for this incredible fundraising event.
APCO Foundation chair Sharon Gleeson said every dollar raised makes a real different to those doing it tough in our local communities.
“Through the generosity of our partners, volunteers and wine walkers, we can provide immediate support to local families facing challenges.”
APCO Foundation director Robert Anderson said he was proud of what they continue to achieve in the Geelong region.
“From helping families and individuals to supporting local not for profit groups, we’re making a difference where it matters most.
“The Geelong Wine Walk is a perfect example of how we can bring people together, celebrate what makes our region special, and create positive impact in our local APCO communities.”
Tickets are $130 each.
Each ticket includes access to all seven venues, wine, gin and beer tastings, canapé vouchers at each venue, live entertainment, and an exclusive Geelong Wine Walk bag filled with goodies.
