June 16, 2023 BY

MILLIONS of lights and a thousand colourful installations await residents and visitors in Wallington when Adventure Park opens its month-long winter festival today (June 16).

Adventure Park Geelong’s annual Winter Glow Festival is back again these June-July school holidays, featuring more snow, dazzling new light installations and mouth-watering food and drink options from June 16-July 16.

“We’re confident this year’s festival will be even better than the last,” Adventure Park Geelong managing director Leanne Salmon said.

“Our team has been working hard to create a magical winter experience for families and visitors, and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.”

More than three-million lights await visitors as Adventure Park prepares to transport them to a Winter Wonderland.

Guests will be able to enjoy eight theme park rides, including the popular Tea Cups and Air Balloons, a stunning display of more than three-million dazzling lights across a thousand colourful installations.

Visitors can enjoy other entertaining activities such as mini golf, face-painting, cookie decorating, and marshmallow roasting over open fire.

Local artist Glenn Smith is back this year carving stunning ice works each day, while performers from Cirque Mystique wow guests with their spectacular fire-twirling shows.

“We’re excited to bring back Winter Glow for another year and give families the opportunity to experience our magical snow festival with realistic snow made from frozen water,” Ms Salmon said.

Local artist Glenn Smith is back this year to construct an array of beautiful ice sculptures.

Adventure Park Geelong’s Winter Glow Festival will run from June 16-18, June 23-July 9, and July 13-16 (3.30pm-8.30pm).

Tickets for the festival are now available at www.winterglow.com.au.
