The annual Geelong Cats Women in Sports Breakfast will return to GMHBA Stadium on April 17.

The event provides an opportunity for like-minded professionals to come together and connect.

Geelong Cats AFLW Captain Meghan McDonald will be the MC for the breakfast and said it’s set to be another wonderful event and they are looking forward to seeing people from across the region come to the stadium.

“The annual Geelong Cats Women in Sports breakfast is a significant highlight on our calendar each year and is always looked forward to with a lot of excitement around the club.”

Layne Beachley and Tess Brouwer will be special guests at the event, delivering a self-empowering presentation.

“We have a couple of brilliant guests this year from the Awake Academy, with seven-time World Surfing Champion Layne Beachley and positive psychology practitioner Tess Brouwer sharing their insights and knowledge with attendees,” Ms McDonald said.

Olympian swimmer Cate Campbell was the guest speaker for last year’s event.

She said the event is a great opportunity for people to get together, network and celebrate women in sport.

“Importantly we like to think all our guests leave with some practical knowledge that they can take into their own professional and personal lives.”

“It is set to be another wonderful event and we’re looking forward to seeing people from all across the region join us at GMHBA Stadium.”

Along with the presentation, the breakfast will include interactive activities and networking opportunities.

Guests will also take home a toolkit for fostering self-empowerment and success.

A seated hot breakfast is included, taking place in the Presidents room from 6:30am until 8:30am.
