THE Bioglan Bells Beach Longboard Classic presented by Rip Curl is the second stop on the 2023 World Surf League (WSL) Longboard Tour and will run from August 30-September 2.

A throwback to the foundational days of competition at Bells, the prestigious event will see 24 men and 24 women battle it out, at an iconic location that has been hosting professional surfing for more than 60 years.

In addition to the main event, the Bioglan Bells Beach Longboard Classic presented by Rip Curl Trials will be held at Torquay Point on August 29.

The Bioglan Bells Beach Longboard Classic presented by Rip Curl will offer a unique platform for the world’s best longboarders to showcase their abilities on the iconic wave.

With its rich competition history dating back to the 1960s, Bells Beach has become synonymous with the art of wave riding, attracting surfers and spectators from across the globe.

The raw energy of the ocean meeting the cliffs sets the stage for an unparalleled surfing and viewing experience. Located 100km southwest of Melbourne, Bells Beach is one of the most iconic waves in Australia and the world.

Bells Beach sits in a bay between two headlands, creating a natural amphitheater for the long and powerful right-hand wave that breaks along the reef point.
