STONE & Wood Brewery will become the official beer of World Surf League (WSL) Australia events for this year and the next two years.

The new collaboration means that surfing fans can enjoy Stone & Wood at WSL Championship Tour events at Bells Beach, Snapper Rocks on the Gold Coast and Margaret River in Western Australia, as well as the Newcastle Challenger Series event and the Bells Beach Longboard Classic.

Located on the sand, Stone & Wood’s onsite bar will be serving up cold beers next to the surfing action at all locations.

WSL Australia-Pacific president Andrew Stark said the league was thrilled to have Stone & Wood on board from now until 2027.

“They’re a brand that was born at the beach and lives and breathes the coastal lifestyle.

“That, coupled with their passion and focus on community, makes them a perfect partner for WSL.

“We look forward to seeing Stone & Wood bring this partnership to life at each of our events around Australia by creating moments and places where we can come together through surfing.”

Stone & Wood head of strategy and creative Paul Tansley said the brewery and surfing had always gone hand in hand.

“We’ve been part of the local surfing community from the outset and partnering with the WSL gives us the opportunity to take that natural connection to the beach lifestyle to coastal communities right across the country.”

The Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach will be held between April 18 and April 28.
