High-potential Geelong greenfield sites

A prime-located Highton block leads a host of Geelong greenfield sites that have hit the market this month.

297-307 Roslyn Road is a 8,244sqm development site, which presents a rare chance of infill development within an established Geelong suburb.

The property is within a Neighbourhood Residential Zone (NRZ) and had dual-street frontage, which agents say provide an investor with opportunity to develop the site for uses including residential, aged care, childcare or educational.

The property includes an existing brick house but its being marketed as a blank canvas opportunity for prospective developers.

Darcy Jarman Geelong is managing the sale of the Highton site, with expressions of interest open until June 8.

A site in the northern Geelong growth corridor is also on the market for a new buyer.

A five-acre (2.02-hectare) site in Lara’s employment precinct is for sale as more intense development nears under the city’s future settlement strategy.

The property is a corner block and currently included a five-bedroom house. It’s expected to command interest from home buyers, land bankers and investors.
