Theatre 3triple2 for Kids have been presenting quality and affordable family entertainment since 2004.

Based at the Potato Shed in Drysdale, audiences await each school holiday to see the latest offering from this talented local group.

Next up they present a brand-new work from local writer and performer Alysha Kitchingman, called The Submarine Adventure.

Using the music of The Beatles, this great underwater adventure will take you on a mystery tour to strange and wonderful places in a little submarine.

With a very experienced and talented cast, audiences will be swept away to a magical mystery underwater wonderland. Directed by experienced Geelong producer, director and stage manager Derek Ingles, this show is one not to be missed.

The cast includes seasoned performers such as Melina Bunting as very excitable young niece Jude, Felicity McCowan as her best friend Penny and Rick Peacock as lovable Uncle Paul, the retired captain who also likes pirates and pirate speak.

The rather wacky robotic submarine system Sub-Zero with be played by Seth Baxter, and 2Triple2 favourite Susana Nicholls will be playing the trio of fun-filled puppets Felix, Otto and Wally.

Not only will parents get to relive some ageless tunes from The Beatles, but a whole new-aged audience will also be introduced to the music that changed a generation; Hey Jude, Octopus’ Garden, and Yellow Submarine, along with a whole stack of other classics. The new children’s panto, featuring the music of The Beatles is full of music, dancing, lots of laughs and some clever puppetry.

Fun for all ages and suitable for all abilities to enjoy, The Submarine Adventure will be hitting the Potato Shed stage on September 27-October 3, with shows at 10.30am and 1.30pm daily.
