BFNL fixture released

AFL BARWON has released the final fixture for the 2021 Bellarine Football Netball League, following the end of the club’s requests process.

A bonanza of Good Friday football will again be part of the 18-round fixture, with two games on the public holiday to kick off the 2021 season.

Games between Portarlington and Newcomb and Torquay and Ocean Grove have shifted to April 2, while the fixture between Modewarre and Anglesea will be played the following day at 6pm instead of the traditional 2.10pm start.

The twilight fixture at Modewarre will give the Warriors the opportunity to unveil its new football and netball lighting, and will be their first Easter match at home since 2001.

Torquay vs Ocean Grove, McCartney Oval, Torquay, 4pm (twilight)

Saturday, April 3
Queenscliff vs Geelong Amateur, Queenscliff Recreation Reserve, 2.10pm
Barwon Heads vs Drysdale, Howard Harmer Oval, Barwon Heads. 2.10pm
Modewarre vs Anglesea, Community Bank Oval, Modewarre, 6pm (twilight)
