October 27, 2020 BY

Jack Parsons played 35 games for the Geelong Cats.

THE Geelong Cats have delisted three players in the wake of their grand final loss to Richmond.

The club has announced that midfielders James Parsons and Jacob Kennerley along with key-forward and Category B rookie Blake Schlensog will not be given contracts for 2021.

Geelong’s general manager of football Simon Lloyd farewelled the trio.

“James, Jacob and Blake have all grown as players and people during their time at the club and we wish them well in their future endeavours,” Lloyd said.

“Once a Geelong player, always a Geelong player and they will always be welcome at the club.”

Parsons played 35 games for the club since his arrival in 2017. However, this season he did not play a single game in the AFL.

Kennerley and Schlensog did not play at AFL level but were both contributors at VFL level.
