After Thomson upset ladder-leaders Belmont last weekend, a win for East Geelong (10-2) will see them move to equal point with the Lions, with their stronger percentage giving them the first place.
However, the third-placed Magpies (9-3) will be hungry to get back on track following a disappointing 52-point defeat to fifth-placed Bell Post Hill before the bye.
With just two wins separating first and fifth on the ladder, this matchup will prove crucial for both sides with six rounds to play. Last time they played, North Geelong prevailed by two points in a thriller at Osborne Park.
Inverleigh (6-6) will host Bannockburn (4-8) tomorrow, with the eighth-placed Tigers coming off a huge upset win against East Geelong. Meanwhile, the sixth-placed Hawks simply must win to remain in check with the top five, being two wins behind Bell Post Hill.
The Werribee Centrals (4-8) will travel to Myers Reserve to take on Bell Post Hill (8-4), who will take in some form after their upset against the Magpies. The Centrals have lost three in a row, their most recent coming against Belmont in Round 12.
All matches this weekend start at 2pm.
