Falcons pair get chance to showcase skills on big stage

GEELONG Falcons’ Josh Lindsay and Ben Rongdit have been selected in Australia’s under-18 squad to play against Richmond’s VFL side at Moorabbin Oval this Sunday, April 13.

The squad will also play against Coburg at Whitten Oval on Sunday, April 27.

Lindsay’s community club is Newtown & Chilwell and Rongdit is a Colac product.

The pair are in the AFL National Academy Boys’ squad which features a host of the nation’s most talented young footballers, who are taking part in the program during their draft year.

The academy is a holistic football and personal development program, providing the next generation of stars with valuable experiences, insights and opportunities to best prepare them for the next steps in their football journey.

Sunday’s match against Richmond VFL starts at 1.30pm and will be available to watch live and free on the AFL website.
