Mini-final looms for Roos, Seagulls

Torquay defeated Modewarre in the sides' Round 14 match in the BFL and will look for its seventh win in a row.
ANGLESEA will host Barwon Heads in a crucial Round 15 clash tomorrow (Saturday, July 26), with the winner to take fifth spot on the BFL ladder.
The matchup serves as a mini final for both sides, who sit on equal points and both have favourable runs home.
The Kangaroos are coming off a 21-point win against eighth-placed Portarlington, and will face teams below them on the ladder in two of the final three games.
Meanwhile, the Seagulls overcame a competitive Ocean Grove side in the Battle of the Bridge and will also face two lower-placed teams in the run home.
In-form Torquay can make it seven wins on the trot against Drysdale this weekend at McCartney Oval. The second-placed Tigers beat Modewarre in Round 14, while the fourth-placed Hawks are coming off a disappointing loss to Geelong Amateur, with inaccuracy being the killer.
Meanwhile, the ladder-leading Ammos take on the struggling Portarlington at Queens Park Reserve and can hold its three-game gap on top with a win. The Demons will look to build on a promising performance in Round 14 against Anglesea, where the side went down by 21 points.
Third-placed Queenscliff host seventh-placed Modewarre, whose finals chances were destroyed after losing to Torquay.
Meanwhile, the improved Coutas will want to bank a win before facing the Tigers and Anglesea in two of the final three games.
Ocean Grove can build on its gutsy performance against Barwon Heads, when it takes on ninth-placed Newcomb at Shell Road Recreation Reserve. The Power will search for their first win since Round 4, which coincidentally came against the Grubbers.
