ST JOSEPH’S held its sponsors day function on Saturday at Herne Hill Reserve.

The sponsors listened to senior football coach Ron Watt’s address in the changerooms before the team went out to defeat South Barwon 12.19 (91) to 3.11 (29) in GFL Round 8.

The seniors have only lost one game this year and are on top of the ladder.

Joeys lost the A grade netball 48-37 to the Swans and are second on the table with seven wins.

“Our Joeys family cannot thank our sponsors enough for what they do for our club, so as our club can be as successful as it is within our community,” the club stated on its Facebook page.

“We hope everyone had a wonderful day getting together and being a part of the senior men’s pre-game address by Ron.”
