Struggling at the boat ramp? This Geelong clinic can help
BOAT owners looking to build confidence at the ramp will have the chance to learn from the experts at a free reversing clinic in East Geelong.
Delivered by the Victorian Fisheries Authority, the sessions focus on practical skills to make launching and retrieving boats easier.
The clinic will be held at Limeburners Point Boat Ramp in East Geelong on Sunday 17 May, with sessions running from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
Participants will receive hands-on guidance from instructors at Peninsula Boat Training, covering the fundamentals of trailer reversing, launching and retrieving a boat, along with practical time behind the wheel.
The sessions are designed for all experience levels, from first-time boat owners through to those looking to refine their technique, with some sessions offered exclusively for women to provide a more comfortable learning environment.
Bookings are essential, with 45-minute sessions scheduled throughout the day via the Victorian Fisheries Authority website.
The clinics are funded through the Victorian government’s Better Boating Fund, which reinvests licence and registration fees into facilities and programs for recreational boaters.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to enhance your boating experience! See you there!
