THE Geelong Supercats’ home record remained perfect against Keilor last weekend with the women improving their record to 3-1 as the men maintained their unbeaten start to NBL1 2022.

Geelong’s 101-87 women’s win was thanks to Aimie Rocci, who led the way in the first of two games on Saturday night at Geelong Arena, with 37 points, three assists and three steals.

Australian Opal Sara Blicavs continued her solid start to the season with a 24-point, eight-rebound, and five-assist stat line, while Taylah Simmons neutralised Keilor’s Maddie Garrick with her superb defence.

The Supercats’ men’s team welcomed back head coach Justin Schueller from his NBL duties with a hard-earned eight-point win in the closing contest Saturday.

Geelong’s 84-76 win over Keilor in the men’s fixture solidifies them as one of two unbeaten sides alongside Mt Gambier so far this season.

George Blagojevic was almost unstoppable with a team-high 29 points, 13 rebounds and a pair of steals.

Gabe Hadley accumulated another 20-point performance as Demarcus Gatlin squeezed in a double-double of his own with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

The Supercats take on the Knox Raiders tomorrow night at Geelong Arena before a two-week away stand.
