Surfing Victoria title schedule revealed

SURFING Victoria has announced its 2024 Victorian State Titles event calendar, with shortboard, longboard and SUP disciplines all slated to feature.

The jam-packed season of events will begin with the Woorangalook Victorian Koori Surf Titles at Urquharts Bluff on Februay 10-11.

The following fortnight features a Phillip Island double, with round two of the Victorian Open Series and Victorian Longboarding Titles taking place on successive weekends.

Round 1 of the Woolworths Victorian Junior Surfing Titles will be at Bells Beach on March 2-3, before the Victorian Teams Titles and Victorian Open Series closes out the month of March.

On the other side of the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach will be the final round of the Woolworths Victorian Junior Surfing Titles (May 4-5) at Phillip Island, crowning state champions across six junior divisions.

State champions will also be crowned in the longboarding and SUP divisions during the first fortnight in May.

Surfing Victoria chief executive officer, Adam Robertson said state title events were “at the core of what we do and offer to our members.”

“They provide great opportunities for surfers from all walks of life to compete and be part of the surfing community.

“We look forward to crowning state champions across all divisions and seeing some great surfing in hopefully great waves.”
