The Bellarine FNL is finally back this weekend

Barwon Heads defeated Torquay 13.7 (85) to 10.11 (71) in the BFL seniors grand final to win the flag for the first time since 1993.

After an abandoned 2020 senior football and netball season across the state, the Bellarine Football Netball League will finally be back in action for the first time this Easter long weekend.

Not only does this mean local players, supporters and communities get to head along to their local sporting grounds, it’s also a great opportunity for Easter holidaymakers to experience their taste of local football and netball for the first time in more than 18 months.

Barwon Heads defeated Torquay 13.7 (85) to 10.11 (71) in the 2019 BFL seniors grand final to win the flag for the first time since 1993. The Seagulls’ will unfurl their flag at home this weekend against Drysdale.
