Women leading with purpose at APCO
LEADERSHIP at APCO is built on experience, integrity and a genuine commitment to people and community.
This International Women’s Day, APCO is proud to recognise two women whose leadership journeys reflect those values and highlights the impact women continue to have across business and beyond: Fiona Rowan, APCO’s chief financial officer, and Kellie Struth, head of category and marketing.
With more than 20 years at APCO, Fiona Rowan’s career is a powerful example of long-term leadership and growth.
Joining the business in 2000, Fiona has built deep organisational knowledge and progressed into the role of chief financial officer, where she now oversees APCO’s financial strategy and plays a key role in guiding the business through continued growth and change.
Fiona’s leadership style is grounded and people focused, shaped by decades of hands-on experience across the business.
She is known for her steady approach, strong commercial insight and commitment to supporting teams to succeed.
“Being part of APCO for more than two decades has allowed me to grow alongside the business,” Fiona said. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see people develop their careers here and to contribute to a company that values long-term relationships and doing the right thing.”
Kellie Struth’s leadership journey reflects APCO’s future focused mindset and strong connection to industry and community.
Since joining APCO in 2020, Kellie has led category and marketing strategy across the network, shaping customer experiences and driving innovation in a fast moving retail environment.
In addition to her role at APCO, Kellie was recently appointed to the board of the Australasian Association of Convenience Stores (AACS), recognising her experience and influence within the broader convenience and fuel industry.

“Being part of APCO gives me the chance to make a real difference, not just for our customers, but for the broader convenience and fuel industry,” Kellie said. “I’m passionate about creating opportunities, shaping how we do business, and ensuring that the work we do every day has a positive impact on our people and communities.”
Beyond their executive roles, both Fiona and Kellie serve on the board of the APCO Foundation, the organisation’s not for profit arm dedicated to supporting individuals, families and local communities in times of need. Through the foundation, they help guide initiatives that deliver meaningful, practical support across APCO’s operating regions.
For both leaders, International Women’s Day is an important moment for reflection and momentum.
“It’s an opportunity to recognise how far we’ve come, while continuing to support and encourage the next generation of women in business,” Fiona said.
Kellie agrees.
“International Women’s Day is about celebrating achievements, but also about creating pathways, ensuring women feel supported to step into leadership, back themselves and make an impact,” she said.
Together, Fiona and Kellie represent two leadership journeys shaped by experience, purpose and a shared commitment to community.
This International Women’s Day, APCO proudly celebrates their contribution and the many women across the business who continue to lead, inspire and shape the future every day.
