ARMSTRONG Creek is getting a new kindergarten co-located with one of its new primary schools, one of eight to be built across the state by the Victorian government.<\/p>\n

Premier Jacinta Allan visited the Armstrong Creek East Children’s Centre today (Friday, July 26) with Member for Western Victoria Gayle Tierney to announce the eight kinders, which will all be completed and be ready to open at the start of Term 1, 2026.<\/p>\n

The kinders, which will collectively create more than 1,000 new places for children, are being built in communities where there is high demand.<\/p>\n

In Armstrong Creek, the new kinder will be co-located at the school with the interim name of Warralily Park Primary School, which does not yet have a confirmed location.<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/em>Every parent knows mornings can be chaotic,” Ms Allan said.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s why we\u2019re making things that little bit easier \u2013 making drop-offs faster and simpler with more kinders on school sites right across the state.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday\u2019s announcement will give local families with little ones confidence they can rely on a great kinder close to home.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Victorian government says it has opened 16 kinders so far this year and will open 20 more in 2025 and another 21 (including the eight announced today) in 2026.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re proud to be delivering more local kinder places for families in Armstrong Creek \u2013 ensuring more local kids get a great early education,\u201d Ms Tierney said.<\/p>\n
