{"id":101542,"date":"2024-08-07T23:26:59","date_gmt":"2024-08-07T13:26:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/geelongtimes\/news\/jimeoins-your-man\/"},"modified":"2024-08-07T23:37:43","modified_gmt":"2024-08-07T13:37:43","slug":"jimeoins-your-man","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/geelongtimes\/living\/jimeoins-your-man\/","title":{"rendered":"Jimeoin&#8217;s your man"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Australian TV regular, actor and comedian Jimeoin has hit the road again with his <\/strong><em><strong>Who\u2019s Your Man<\/strong><\/em><strong> tour.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Known for his sharp wit and observations on everyday life, Jimeoin is bringing the laughs to Geelong with his new stand up show at The Play House on September 7.<\/p>\n<p>His previous tours in Australia have attracted sold out bookings with extra shows added to meet the demand.<\/p>\n<p>Along with his touring gigs, the comedian has made appearances at a string of comedy festivals including as a regular at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.<\/p>\n<p>The comedian\u2019s success in Australia has extended further abroad, performing at the Montreal\u2019s Just for Laughs Festival and touring around Europe and the UK, South Africa and more.<\/p>\n<p>Jimeoin has graced Australian living rooms for years, featuring on TV shows such as <em>Thank God You\u2019re Here<\/em>, <em>Spicks and Specks<\/em> and <em>Talkin\u2019 about Your Generation<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>He also filmed a documentary for BBC Northern Island between 2005 and 2008, where he toured the outback regions and major cities of Australia, playing at swimming pools, hotels, theatres and cattle ranches.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout his career Jimeoin has been nominated for a number ARIA Awards in the Best Comedy Release category.<\/p>\n<p>The Irish-born comedian will finish his Australian tour with a show in Melbourne before heading over to Europe where he will continue his tour.<\/p>\n<p>For tickets and more information, head to <a href=\"http:\/\/geelongartscentre.org.au\"><strong>geelongartscentre.org.au<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Australian TV regular, actor and comedian Jimeoin has hit the road again with his Who\u2019s Your Man tour.
