{"id":102585,"date":"2024-08-22T09:10:16","date_gmt":"2024-08-21T23:10:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/geelongtimes\/?p=102585"},"modified":"2024-08-22T09:10:16","modified_gmt":"2024-08-21T23:10:16","slug":"house4health-fundraiser-reaches-major-milestone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/geelongtimes\/news\/house4health-fundraiser-reaches-major-milestone\/","title":{"rendered":"House4Health fundraiser reaches major milestone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A LARA property scheduled to go under the hammer for charity next month has reached a major milestone, with the O&#8217;Hallorans Road site now holding inspections following the completion of construction.<\/p>\n<p>The Barwon Health Foundation will hold its House4Health charity home auction on Saturday, September 14 at 465 O&#8217;Hallorans Road, Lara Lakes Estate, selling the house to one vendor.<\/p>\n<p>The House4Health initiative is the foundation&#8217;s largest-ever fundraiser, with all proceeds from the sale going towards Barwon Health and its mission to improve health outcomes in the northern suburbs.<\/p>\n<p>Inspections at the property began as early as last week.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 678px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2024\/08\/IMG_7591_91619-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"678\" height=\"452\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The facade of 465 O\u2019Hallorans Road, Lara Lakes Estate.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of all who took part in making this dream a reality, starting with the remarkable Lino and Richard Bisinella from Bisinella Developments who donated the Lara Lakes block of land,&#8221; Barwon Health Foundation acting executive director Francis Trainor said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are also grateful for the generous support by the wonderful team at Hamlyn Homes who have constructed the stunning property, Bendigo Bank who are long-standing supporters of the foundation and wider community, Jo Boothroyd and her sales team at Ray White Lara and the many contractors, suppliers, trades and more.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The auction family fun day event will start at 9.30am and will run until 11.30am, featuring an abundance of family activities.<\/p>\n<p>The live auction is scheduled to take place at 10.30am.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 666px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2024\/08\/IMG_7625_91695-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"666\" height=\"444\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">(Back L-R) Richard Bisinella (Bisinella Developments), Bianca Clair (Hamlan Homes), Lino Bisinella (Bisinella Developments), Jo Boothroyd (Ray White Lara), (Front L-R) Matt Wade-Taylor (Ray White Lara), Kyna Woodford Community Bank Lara District, and Sherryn Bennett (Barwon Health Foundation).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The community is also encouraged to bring the whole family for free face painting, giveaways and character appearances.<\/p>\n<p>Bisinella Developments managing director Lino Bisinella said the development company did not think twice about being involved in the charity initiative.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2024\/08\/IMG_7616_91655-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"656\" height=\"437\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Once we heard about the Barwon Health Foundation&#8217;s vision to support the health of those living in the northern suburbs, we did not hesitate to donate the Lara Lakes block of land where the House4Health home now sits,&#8221; Mr Bisinella said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve always strived to not only build communities, but to support communities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ray White Lara business manager Zac Boothroyd said the business was excited to play a role in the auction.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As a locally owned and operated Lara business, our team at Ray White Lara is delighted to be the real estate partner for House4Health,&#8221;
