he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our school has always had a strong culture and particularly values the importance of relationships and ensuring students feel safe and supported.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m really happy this year that we will be including R U OK Day; our school alongside all the other schools understands the importance of having conversations and looking after our mental health and wellbeing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2024\/09\/IMG_0717_81437.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Teachers Riley Brown, Jess Scannell and Chad McLauchlan will be hoping to lead the side to victory against the students for the first time.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Building strong relationships between staff and students is crucial in creating a positive and supportive school environment.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The latest Connecting Young Australians research by Youth Insight found seven in 10 Australians aged 12-25 do not ask for help when they are experiencing a difficult time.<\/p>\n<p>However, a similar 70 per cent are willing to engage in meaningful conversations with a close friend and prefer to have these conversations in person.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Having taught at Belmont High School for the past 15 years, I&#8217;ve had lots of students confide in me about mental health concerns they might be having,&#8221;
