Pets needed to have been adopted from GAWS to be in the running for inclusion in the calendar.<\/p>\n
GAWS chief executive officer Helen Cocks said the calendar is a great way to share the stories of the loved animals who got their second chance of a happy, healthy life.<\/p>\n
“GAWS relies on donations, both monetary and goods, from the public to invest in each animal that comes into our care,” Ms Cocks said.<\/p>\n
“We have thousands of animals admitted each year who have their individual vet and care requirements met.<\/p>\n
“Our calendar is one way people can financially support us and our vital work.<\/p>\n
“Every calendar purchase helps.”<\/p>\n
The calendars will go on sale in the middle of October.<\/p>\n
All proceeds from sales will go towards the costs of nursing animals to good health and preparing them for rehoming.<\/p>\n
The 2025 GAWS Graduates Calendar will be available to buy for $20, either online or in person.<\/p>\n
Physical copies can be picked up from GAWS at 325 Portarlington Road Moolap or at the GAWS Op Shop in Hamlyn Heights.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
