A POPULAR gallery exhibition that breaks down barriers is calling on Geelong-based artists and designers to submit their expressions of interest.<\/p>\n

Yarra Street Window Gallery, a 24-hour gallery along the outside of Market Square between Malop and Little Malop streets, attracts viewers who might not typically visit traditional galleries because of its public location.<\/p>\n

It prese features works from Peter Leigh, Jacinta Kay, Dr Matt Dingle, Dr Matthias Weiss, Ross and Lyn George, Wathaurong Glass & Arts, Grant Finck, Dell Nolan, FOOT, Shelley Jardine, Christopher Delia, Sharyn Masson, Cecilia Cabalquinto and Shelley Hannigan across 12 display windows.<\/p>\n

Their artworks and collections are made of a range of materials including reclaimed timber, wool, corrugated sheet, ceramics, copper wire and glass.<\/p>\n

Almost all forms of visual arts and design are welcome, including First Nations art, painting, sculpture, film, animation, photography, fashion, lighting design, furniture design and ceramics.<\/p>\n

It is free to exhibit, and selected artists will be paid a stipend of $500 to showcase their work.<\/p>\n
