NYAAL Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre is looking to fill 12 new roles ahead of its opening to the public next year.<\/p>\n

Applications will be open across the coming three to four months for roles including executive chef, event and venue operations manager, marketing specialist and sales executives.<\/p>\n

Located near the Geelong Waterfront, Nyaal Banyul will feature a 1,000-seat theatre and 3,700 square metres of flexible space for a plethora of events, such as community gatherings, major conferences and concerts when complete.<\/p>\n

Venue operator, Victorian Convention and Event Trust (VCET) are building a local team to support recently-appointed general manager Rick Aylett.<\/p>\n

“Nyaal Banyul is more than a venue \u2013 it will be a space for creating meaningful connections and discovering new perspectives,” Mr Aylett said.<\/p>\n

“Outstanding customer experience is at the heart of what we do, and it starts with a great organisational culture. I’m excited to start building our foundational team at Nyaal Banyul.<\/p>\n

“While we’ll be benefiting from VCET’s 30-years of experience, as a local team we’ll be taking on a ‘start-up’ mentality.<\/p>\n

“These new roles will be pivotal in shaping the identity and energy of Nyaal Banyul \u2013 enthusiasm, creativity and a customer-first attitude are the core traits we’re looking for.”<\/p>\n

A growing number of additional jobs will be available as the building progresses towards opening.<\/p>\n

Applications for positions are open, with more to be added across the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
