Maddison said she and husband Rheace, parents to two-year-old Mia, had been looking around the Armstrong Creek area for the past year but was left almost speechless by her win in the tightly-contested auction.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know what to say,\u201d she said immediately after the record result.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think my husband\u2019s in shock. He called me and asked \u2018How are we going? I said \u2018We just spent a whole lot of money!\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
The couple\u2019s new home is just 10 minutes from Maddison\u2019s parents, Sandy and Colin Eade, in Torquay.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt hasn\u2019t settled in just yet but I\u2019m very excited,\u201d Maddison said.<\/p>\n
