IN JUST four months, the APCO Foundation has donated more than $100,000 to communities across the state.<\/p>\n

Between December 2024 and March 2025, the foundation supported communities with $134,734 in grants, including across the Geelong region.<\/p>\n

The APCO Foundation works to help people in the communities around their stores, with each location given a grant for a range of projects, families or organisations that need support.<\/p>\n

Around the region the foundation has contributed to Anam Cara House, Geelong Youth Engagement, Read the Play, Story Dogs and The Outpost.<\/p>\n

Anam Cara House received $5,000 in gift cards for guests to enjoy outings and experiences.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

 <\/p>\n

A family in Winchelsea also received $10,000 after they lost everything in a housefire.<\/p>\n

The foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting organisations with monthly donations also continued with Cottage By the Sea, Feed Me Bellarine, Meli Emergency Relief and Geelong Food Share.<\/p>\n

The APCO Coffee Caravan has also visited The Outpost, where guests could enjoy coffee, desserts and pizza.<\/p>\n

Funds raised by the foundation come from within Victorian communities, with a record $493,132 raised in 2024, before being allocated on a monthly basis by the board.<\/p>\n

Race for a Reason will take place today (Friday May 9) as the latest fundraising event for the foundation.<\/p>\n

Held at the Geelong Racing Club, the fundraiser will include a day of lunching and racing with a Tutti Frutti theme.<\/p>\n
