This includes six dedicated parking bays for the Direct to Boot service where customers confirm they have arrived via the Woolworths app or SMS link to notify the store team, who will then pack the order directly in the boot with no additional charge.<\/p>\n
There is also electronic ticketing in-store, removing the need for paper tickets and giving team members more time on the shop floor to help customers.<\/p>\n
“My team and I are excited to offer local residents a new shopping experience with an even bigger range of groceries to choose from across all departments in the store, as well as a number of innovative new features to provide convenience and value,” Woolworths Newcomb Central store manager Andrew Winter said.<\/p>\n
“We’re pleased to have so many new team members joining us from the local community, while also welcoming back all of the familiar faces who worked at the old store.”<\/p>\n
