Photo: JOEL CARRETT\/AAP IMAGE<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Fans are being urged to arrive early to secure the limited-edition item.<\/p>\n<p>According to 7 News, it is inspired by Penn State\u2019s &#8220;white out&#8221;, which is one of the most famous traditions in US college sport.<\/p>\n<p>Friday&#8217;s game will be a second versus third clash and the Lions are the reigning premier, knocking Geelong out in last year\u2019s thrilling preliminary final at the MCG.<\/p>\n<p>Dangerfield, a 2022 premiership player and 2016 Brownlow Medallist, will become just the 25th player in AFL history to reach 350 games &#8211; 154 for the Crows and 195 to date for the Cats.<\/p>\n<p>The 35-year-old, who is renowned as one of the game\u2019s greatest midfielders, made his debut for Adelaide in 2008 after being selected at pick 10 in the draft from Anglesea and the Geelong Falcons.<\/p>\n<p>This year is his third as captain and he is an eight-time All Australian, including being selected as skipper in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Dangerfield, who has kicked 354 goals, signed a two-year contract extension at the end of last year which will see him stay at Geelong until at least the end of 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Friday&#8217;s match begins at 7.40pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GEELONG will maximise its home ground advantage and celebrate captain Patrick Dangerfield\u2019s 350th game in style this Friday, June 20 at GMHBA Stadium.
