It was so good,&#8221; coach Calsey Taylor said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Obviously, it was such a tough game. Queenscliff are so strong and so skilful. The first part of the game was really frantic but I think once we settled into our game in the second half, it really worked for us.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 598px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/06\/2025June14_844645785_60701.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"598\" height=\"897\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Drysdale play Anglesea this weekend.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Taylor said the Hawks focused on playing quarter-by-quarter, rather than the end result.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve had those tough, close games all season so we were ready for it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And this time we just got over the line. I honestly don&#8217;t know what it was.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We had such a team effort.
