THE City of Greater of Greater Geelong wants to unlock the full potential of its community spaces in an open and inclusive way.<\/p>\n

The city has launched a new ‘Have Your Say’ page, providing a single, accessible platform where community members can explore, apply for, and provide feedback on all existing and coming Property and Leasing Expressions of Interest.<\/p>\n

The city manages a diverse property portfolio across the region – including open spaces, community buildings, and Crown land.<\/p>\n

Through the new online hub, the city wants to showcase its ongoing commitment to transparency, fairness, and maximising community benefit in opportunities at available facilities.<\/p>\n

Opportunities currently available include licences for Geelong Botanic Gardens and leasing opportunities at consulting suites within Integrated Child and Family Centres and Hubs.<\/p>\n

Geelong mayor Stretch Kontelj said the new webpage is designed to streamline access and increase engagement from local groups, businesses, and residents.<\/p>\n

“This gives everyone a clear and consistent way to see what’s available and to put forward their ideas or applications,” he said.<\/p>\n

Cr Trent Sullivan, chair of the economic development portfolio, encouraged interested residents and organisations to explore the opportunities available and be part of shaping a vibrant Geelong.<\/p>\n

“We want to increase community access to local facilities and turn underused spaces into vibrant places for community connection and creativity,” he said.<\/p>\n
