ASIA Pacific’s leading agrifood innovation event, evokeAG, will return to Melbourne in February 2026, bringing global industry leaders together to explore the future of farming.<\/p>\n

The forum will run from February 17 to February 18 at the Melbourne Convention Centre, with more than 2,000 delegates from over 20 countries expected to attend.<\/p>\n

Minister for Agriculture Ros Spence said the Victorian government was proud to support the event’s return to the state.<\/p>\n

“Research and innovation are central to the success of Victoria’s $20.2 billion agriculture sector, which is underpinned by farmers and a broader industry that embraces new technology.<\/p>\n

“We are proud to support the return of this landmark event to Melbourne and to invest in the growth and innovation of Australian agriculture.”<\/p>\n

Led by AgriFutures Australia, evokeAG will feature more than 130 speakers, 50 startups and a mix of panel sessions, live demonstrations and interactive workshops.<\/p>\n

Victoria is home to 14 agricultural research and development centres and a quarter of Australia’s farm businesses.<\/p>\n

It also leads the nation in food and fibre exports, accounting for 27 per cent of the national total, according to the state’s 2023\u201324 Food and Fibre Export Performance Report.<\/p>\n

AgriFutures Australia chair Cathy McGowan said Melbourne was an ideal location for the forum’s return.<\/p>\n

“Victoria is home to a vibrant and diverse agrifood sector, world-class agricultural research institutions, and some of the most innovative producers and startups in the country.<\/p>\n

“It’s the perfect place to showcase what is possible when agriculture and innovation come together.”<\/p>\n

EvokeAG was first held in 2019 and has since brought together more than 8,000 delegates and 1,100 producers from across the globe.<\/p>\n
