A MAN in his 50s has been taken to hospital following a hit and run collision in Mount Duneed this morning (Thursday, September 18).<\/p>\n

Police are investigating the incident, with investigators told a white van was travelling south along a north-bound lane just before 6.30am.<\/p>\n

The car collided with an Audi at the intersection of Armstrong Boulevard, before the driver fled the scene without stopping.<\/p>\n

The driver of the Audi sustained non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

This morning\u2019s collision follows the death of a man in Lara last week<\/a>, who police believe was struck by a vehicle who also left the scene.<\/p>\n

Police are urging anyone with information or dashcam\/CCTV footage to phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at crimestoppersvic.com.au <\/a><\/p>\n
