GEELONGPORT has topped the global leaderboard in the 2025 GRESB Infrastructure Assessment, securing first place with a perfect score.<\/p>\n
The port scored 100\/100 in the assessment. It is the first time it has achieved a perfect score and the fifth consecutive year it has earned a prestigious five-star rating.<\/p>\n
Only the top 20 per cent of participants can receive a five-star rating.<\/p>\n
Ranking first among 652 organisations worldwide, GeelongPort also outperformed eight others in the Bulk Goods category, reinforcing its position as a global sustainability leader.<\/p>\n
GeelongPort chief executive officer Brett Winter said the perfect score and top global ranking is an extraordinary accomplishment.<\/p>\n

GRESB also named GeelongPort \u2014 the second largest port in Victoria \u2014 a Sector Leader, a title reserved for organisations setting the pace for the industry.<\/p>\n
GRESB, previously known as the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark, is the world\u2019s leading ESG benchmark for real assets, used by investors and asset managers, and is aligned with international reporting frameworks and emerging regulations.<\/p>\n
Through the assessments, investors and asset managers can benchmark ESG performance and manage risk in the rapidly changing market.<\/p>\n
