{"id":122114,"date":"2025-10-10T10:45:10","date_gmt":"2025-10-09T23:45:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/geelongtimes\/news\/bellarine-estate-to-launch-100-acres-blues-festival\/"},"modified":"2025-10-10T10:56:32","modified_gmt":"2025-10-09T23:56:32","slug":"bellarine-estate-to-launch-100-acres-blues-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/geelongtimes\/news\/bellarine-estate-to-launch-100-acres-blues-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"Bellarine Estate to launch 100 Acres blues festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BELLARINE Estate will launch a new music festival devoted to the sounds of the blues next year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/geelongtimes\/living\/bellarine-estate-to-rock-this\/\">100 Acres Festival<\/a> is being touted as &#8220;a full day of world-class music, local wine, and coastal hospitality&#8221;, and will be headlined by three-time Grammy Award nominee Eric Bibb.<\/p>\n<p>The US musician will perform with his full band as part of his world tour at the six-hour festival in April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Bibb&#8217;s coming album<em> One Mississippi<\/em> (out January 2026) continues his extraordinary run as one of the most vital and uplifting voices in contemporary blues \u2013 weaving stories of peace, justice, and unity through songs both timeless and urgent.<\/p>\n<p>His return to Australia marks his first full-band tour since early 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Festivalgoers will also be treated to performances from some of Australia\u2019s best blues artists:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lloyd Spiegel, the 14-time Australian Blues Award winner known for his guitar wizardry and storytelling prowess<\/li>\n<li>Phil Para, the genre-defying guitar showman whose Jimi Hendrix-inspired performances have earned him cult status.
