THE Royal Geelong Show has rounded off another successful year with four days of agriculture, entertainment and community.<\/p>\n

Taking place from October 16 until October 19 at the Geelong Showgrounds, the annual event was a hive of excitement.<\/p>\n

From thrilling rides, showbags and carnival games, through to the crafts, animal displays and more, there was something on offer for everyone.<\/p>\n

The Strongman Show invited competitors to put their strength to the test in a number of categories, including a tractor pull.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

 <\/p>\n

The popular Shearing Show returned to the showgrounds, along with the Hall of Agriculture, wood chop, Vintage Machinery Display, Homecraft competition and fireworks.<\/p>\n

Among some of the show’s classic attractions, this year’s event also introduced some new faces including the Hot Wheels Fun Zone and stunt driver, Strongman show and Stockman Guy McLean.<\/p>\n

Event co-ordinator Catherine Powell said it was a really successful show.<\/p>\n

“The crowd’s energy was amazing, the entertainment program landed really well, trade sites looked so good, and our volunteers did an incredible job bringing it all together.<\/p>\n

“We had so many amazing stories across the grounds in all of the sections, everyone really got involved this year, which we were so stoked with. And the weather gods were great to us this year.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
