MORE than 20 Christmas trees will adorn St Paul’s Church this festive season, bringing the holiday spirit to life in a big way.<\/p>\n
The much-loved Christmas Tree Festival will be making its return at the central Geelong venue on December 5 and December 6.<\/p>\n
Visitors are invited to cast their eyes over uniquely themed and lovingly created trees as designed by local groups, charities and not for profits.<\/p>\n
Among those taking part in the initiative include The Outpost, Geelong RSL Pipes and Drums, The Embroiderers Guild Victoria Geelong Branch, Feed Me Bellarine, Kids+ and The Heights Newtown.<\/p>\n
The festival promises a festive atmosphere filled with live music, stalls, family friendly activities, children’s games and a sausage sizzle.<\/p>\n
St Paul’s Church vicar Jennifer Furphy said they looked forward to celebrating community spirit and the joy of the Christmas season.<\/p>\n
“We’re so excited to welcome families, friends and visitors to experience the warmth and creativity that makes this event so special.<\/p>\n
“This is also a fantastic opportunity for our community groups to show off what they do to help our community.”<\/p>\n
A special concert will take place on December 5 from 7pm.<\/p>\n
Opening hours for the exhibition will be from 6pm to 9pm on Fridays and 10am to 3pm on Saturdays.<\/p>\n
