AS Armstrong Creek continues to grow into one of Victoria’s most vibrant new family communities, many parents are looking for more than early education alone.<\/p>\n

They want places that help them feel connected to the area, support their children’s development in a safe, nurturing environment, and give families a genuine sense of belonging in a neighborhood that is still taking shape.<\/p>\n

KU Children’s Services will help strengthen that sense of community in Term 1, 2026, with the opening of KU Biyala Primary School Kindergarten and KU Biyala Community Hub Kindergarten. Both services are designed to support the children, families and friendships that form around a local kinder.<\/p>\n

For many families, kinder is the first place where their children build friendships, where parents meet other families, and where a new suburb begins to feel like home. KU’s focus on community, connection and inclusiveness is well suited to a growing area such as Armstrong Creek, where families are establishing\u00a0their roots.<\/p>\n

The new, purpose-built learning environments include bright indoor spaces and large natural outdoor play areas. These settings encourage children to explore, ask questions and develop confidence. They also create welcoming shared spaces where families can meet, talk and build strong relationships with one another.<\/p>\n

KU Biyala Primary School Kindergarten is situated on the school grounds offering children and families connections and continuity from kinder to school. Children who attend the kinder will become familiar with the school setting long before their first day. They will walk the same paths, see the same buildings and often interact with the same community of families. This provides a smoother transition, easier access to school-based services and facilities, and the chance for children to begin school surrounded by established friendships.<\/p>\n

KU Biyala Community Hub Kindergarten, just steps from the primary school, will offer the same smooth transition-to-school program and strong connection with Biyala Primary School as KU Biyala Primary School Kindergarten. Families will also enjoy access to the brand-new multi-million-dollar Bloinks Community Hub, featuring Allied Health suites, flexible community spaces, expansive outdoor play areas, generous free parking, and more. This in partnership with Geelong Council, is yet another way KU puts community at the heart of early learning, bringing families together and creating a true sense of belonging from the very first day.<\/p>\n

Since 1895, KU has supported children and families across Australia. As a leading not for profit, it is widely recognised for high-quality play-based learning, experienced long-serving educators, and a strong, well-established approach to\u00a0child safety.<\/p>\n

The two kinders have been designed to meet rising demand in a region with a rapidly increasing number of young children. Their close proximity, connected through pedestrian paths, will make daily routines easier and will also help build a strong community network as families move between the two sites.<\/p>\n

With more than 12,000 children and their families supported each year, KU brings a proven approach to early education that places children’s wellbeing and safety at the centre of practice, while helping families feel connected and included. The new Armstrong Creek services will play an important role in helping the community grow around shared experiences, shared spaces and the shared journey of early childhood.<\/p>\n
