Photo: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Each show will run for about eight minutes, and the city&#8217;s floating Christmas Tree will remain a feature of the evening.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our floating Christmas Tree will be active with shows every 15 minutes from 8.30pm \u2013 midnight on New Year&#8217;s Eve,&#8221; Cr Kontelj said.<\/p>\n<p>Eastern Beach Road will be closed between Moorabool Street and Yarra Street from 8pm on December 31 until 12.30am on January 1, and motorists are being urged to plan ahead.<\/p>\n<p>Pet owners are also encouraged to take precautions ahead of the displays to ensure their pets remain calm and safe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GEELONG will send off 2025 in colour and light, with fireworks locked in for New Year&#8217;s Eve at the waterfront.
