WHILE four BPCA1 sides progress into the finals, another four sit on the outside looking in and are already at the drawing board for next season.<\/p>\n
ARMSTRONG CREEK \u2013 5th (6-6)<\/strong><\/p>\n
This season was one of the tightest finishes in BPCA history, with Armstrong Creek the unlucky side to miss out on a finals berth and a chance to go back-to-back.<\/p>\n
The Giants fell short of fourth by the narrowest of margins, which sums up their inconsistent season.<\/p>\n
Daniel Maclean led from the front, taking 23 wickets in a strong individual campaign.<\/p>\n
DRYSDALE \u2013 6th (4-8)<\/strong><\/p>\n
It was an up-and-down campaign for Drysdale, who struggled to put together consecutive wins all season.<\/p>\n
Just when it felt they were ready to push into finals contention, they would lower their standards, which ultimately saw them fall out of the race.<\/p>\n
JAN JUC \u2013 7th (4-8)<\/strong><\/p>\n
Much like the Hawks, Jan Juc spent a majority of the season in check with a finals berth, but struggled with consistency which proved costly.<\/p>\n
Lost their final five games, which saw them finish in the bottom two despite impressive individual campaigns from Nick Hyden and Jordan Graham.<\/p>\n
INVERLEIGH \u2013 8th (3-9)<\/strong><\/p>\n
It was a season to forget for Inverleigh, who will now move down to Division Two after their last-place finish.<\/p>\n
One win from their first five games put them towards the bottom of the pack early and they were never able\u00a0to recover.<\/p>\n
