Photo: Supplied.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Local competitors played a key role in Victoria&#8217;s haul of 72 medals across the week-long event, held in Queensland.<\/p>\n<p>More than 7,000 competitors from over 300 clubs took part in about 550 beach and ocean events.<\/p>\n<p>Anglesea was the standout local club, finishing with six gold and 12 silver medals.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/04\/MackenzieAllen-TOrqu_47315.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mackenzie Allen (far right) won a bronze in under-17 female 2km beach run. Photo: Supplied.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Loui D&#8217;Andrea led the charge, claiming under-15 gold in both beach sprint and beach flags.<\/p>\n<p>Fellow club member Bonnie McCarrol produced one of the meet&#8217;s strongest individual performances, securing four gold medals in adaptive board, beach sprint, the 500m run and beach flags, along with silver in the surf race and wade.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/04\/RoriReyntjes-Mackenz_47359.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Rory Reyntjes and Mackenzie Allen of Torquay.
