Students in a Corio school will be moving into their new facilities in a little over a year, with a builder appointed to the project.<\/p>\n

Melbcon Pty Ltd will construct the Learning Centre at Northern Bay P-12 College\u2019s<\/a> Hendy P-8 campus in Hendy Street.<\/p>\n

The centre will include offices, classrooms and a library.<\/p>\n

The main building was severely damaged by a fire<\/a> in 2024 and has since been temporarily replaced with modular classrooms.<\/p>\n

Northern Bay P-12 College has been involved throughout the design process for the Learning Centre, which is expected to welcome its first students in June 2027.<\/p>\n

Lara MP, Ella George, welcomed the appointment of Melbcon Pty Ltd today.<\/p>\n
